This auction is for this very nicely artisan done 400’th year anniversary north Carolina red clay dish made for the occasion. It is when the replica ship came to Roanoke island on July 13’th 1984 from the lost voyage from England . Princess Anne gave a brief Address to the some 15,000-20,000 spectators who turned out in Menateo to see her along with then governor James B Hunt . It sounded like it was a very substantial event. This North Carolina red clay dish is free from any chips cracks ect. It has a nice label on the inside with a bunch of info along with a nice artist maker mark stamped on the bottom.
